Trump 18 Sep plans to hold talks on the UN reform
The President of the United States Donald trump is planning on 18 September to meet with world leaders in new York on the UN reform, reports Reuters, citing caught at his disposal the draft Declaration.
“We support the efforts of the Secretary-General on changes in the framework of the UN to better coordinate the work on humanitarian assistance, development and support of peace initiatives”, — stated in the draft Declaration.
Leaders can be invited to a meeting only in case of signing the Declaration, which calls for the UN Secretary-General antónio Guterres “to start an effective and necessary reform” of the organization. According to the Agency, the meeting will be held the day before the speech of the American President at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly.
