The results of the vote in the September elections, said the Chairman of the Central election Commission of Russia Ella Pamfilova. Her words leads TASS on Thursday, August 31.
“As I said, no indicative figures are not needed. (…) And those who would deem it possible to use administrative pressure on the electoral Commission, will face criminal and administrative responsibility, which this year was strengthened,” warned Pamfilova.
On 9 August the head of the CEC urged the acting heads of the regions as carefully as possible to approach the organization of public events during the election campaign to avoid ambiguous situations. In particular, it refers to the acting Governor, who themselves plan to participate in the campaign.
In the single voting day, September 10, across the country will host more than 5.8 thousand elections and referendums at different levels. The vote will be conducted only in three regions: Ingushetia, Magadan oblast and Saint-Petersburg. This day will operate an Internet portal, which will present visual and textual information about the progress of the elections.
Gubernatorial elections will be held in 16 regions of Russia, the CEC registered to participate in these 75 candidates.
