Natalia Poklonskaya: the liberal democratic party refused to “feast during the plague”, even for the New year
The former Prosecutor of Crimea, the Deputy of the state Duma Natalia Poklonskaya finds it unacceptable to spend budget money on new year corporate parties. This opinion she expressed in an interview with reporters on Tuesday, November 22, RIA Novosti reported.
“Of course, [the deputies have to pay corporate parties] themselves. What budget are you? I am against”, — said the MP. In her opinion, it is inappropriate to celebrate the New year in the building of the state Duma.
If elected officials decide to celebrate new year’s eve, this will be possible “to unite, to meet at some place nice, beautiful,” said Poklonski.
At the same time the Deputy of the state Duma of the previous convocation Maria Maksakova was upset due to the cancellation of a Christmas skit. “Corporate was one of the elements of ordinary human things, which are understandable to any person, whoever he was working”, — quotes Maksakova the TV channel “360”.
Earlier Tuesday, the first Deputy Chairman of state Duma Committee on ecology and environment protection Nikolai Valuev said that he was glad to cancel the Christmas party in the chamber of Parliament. “This is a waste of time, and it’s all useless”, — he said.
State Duma Deputy from the Communist party faction Valery Rashkin, in turn, admitted that I would not like to raise our glasses at the same table with representatives of other parties.
In the state Duma of last convocation, a festive event took place on December 19. The deputies chipped in five thousand roubles.
