LIMA, 20 Nov. /TASS/. The presidents of Russia and the Philippines Vladimir Putin and Rodrigo Duterte discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and investment. The Philippine leader also shared with his Russian counterpart his views on how to resist the external pressure, said press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
“The Russian President expressed his satisfaction, as was the recent introduction of the President of the Philippines Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev”, – said Peskov.
According to him, “today, the presidents agreed to intensify work of intergovernmental Commission and issued instructions to the ministries for the early convening of its next meeting”.
