Abe, Putin promised to take him to Japan as a dear guest

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the APEC summit in Lima has promised Russian President Vladimir Putin to receive him in Japan as a special guest, reports RIA Novosti.

“In my hometown of Nagato, people look forward to your visit,” he said. “I am ready to receive you in a traditional Japanese hotel with hot spring, and the next day we moved to Tokyo and discuss economic issues,” said Abe.

The Prime Minister said that he expects during the current conversation to discuss next month’s visit, the issue of concluding a peace Treaty and economic cooperation. “I welcome that on the eve of your visit to Japan we conducted active contacts on a wide spectrum of work on the preparation is conducted as it should,” said Abe.

Putin, commenting on the development of bilateral relations, said that Moscow and Tokyo have resumed some of the interaction tools, allowing you to move forward. “Besides continuing to work actively on the implementation of your initiatives to intensify trade and economic cooperation”, — said Putin to Abe. The President of Russia noted that today, Moscow and Tokyo “is a good opportunity to verify all these areas.”

Previously, Japan was visited by the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and first Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, and the Japanese representatives came to Russia for consultations between Ministry of foreign Affairs, and security councils.

The previous meeting between Putin and Abe took place on September 2 on the sidelines of the Eastern economic forum in Vladivostok. On its results the Japanese Prime Minister announced a visit of the President of Russia to Japan, which will begin on December 15. It is noted that the visit was postponed in 2014.
