The attack on the German Embassy in Afghanistan was injured 110 people
MOSCOW, 11 Dec — RIA Novosti. At least 110 people were injured in the attack of militants of the radical movement “Taliban” at the German Consulate in the Afghan city of Mazar-I-Sharif, the situation is under control, told the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
Earlier it was reported that the explosion of a car bomb near the Consulate and then shooting two people were killed and 84 were wounded.
After the first explosion nearby Mazar Hotel, which German diplomats used as the Consulate, the second powerful explosion occurred inside the building, said the representative of the regional police, Sayid Sarwar Hussaini.
According to Reuters, the attack could have involved two vehicles, the building of the Consulate was badly damaged. Are NATO military and security services of Afghanistan, outside of the Consulate building there is a collision, a spokesman for the German foreign Ministry.
The Taliban spokesman said the attack is a response to the actions of American aviation in Kunduz province, where on 3 November in the bombing killed more than 30 civilians.
