The state Duma approved the bill about the transfer time in the Saratov region forward an hour. The document was adopted in the second and third final readings. On Friday, November 11, reports RIA Novosti.
Thus, the region is assigned to the third time zone (Moscow time plus one hour, UTC+4).
According to TASS, carried out in the region polls, and online voting showed that the majority of their participants from 69 to 86.4 per cent were in favour of transfer time.
The authors of the legislative initiative, the deputies of the Saratov regional Duma, believe that the measure will allow to raise efficiency of use of light time of day, eliminate the negative phenomena in the sphere of the health status of residents of the region and to reduce the amount of electricity consumed. Now the time difference between Moscow and Saratov is not.
It is expected that the document will come into force on the night of December 4.
