“Operation Rod”: the SBU said that Russia is preparing an insidious plan against Ukraine

Head of Department of protection of national statehood of the security Service of Ukraine Anatoly Dublin said that Russia is allegedly preparing a large-scale destabilization of the situation in Ukraine in November of this year. About it reports UNIAN with reference to the statement of the representative of the SBU, made at the briefing.


 


“These intelligence data in General, coincide with the contents of the so-called plan of priority measures aimed at destabilization socially-a political situation in Ukraine under the conditional name “Rod”,” said, Public.


 


He stressed that the security service has not yet confirmed the authenticity of the received data with the alleged conspiracy of Moscow on the collapse of Ukraine.


 


Public added that at the moment the special services are investigating the validity of the plan under the relevant criminal proceedings.


 


Information about the so-called “operation Rod” was first published by the hacker group “Cyberhunt”. Representatives of this group said that allegedly hacked the correspondence of assistant to the head of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov with his subordinates, in which the actors were discussing plans to destabilize public-political situation in Ukraine.


 


According to the hackers “Cyberhunt” in the plan called “connecting Rod” the Kremlin allegedly had intended, through the Ukrainian opposition, to ruin the country from within. Soon the documents published by the hackers, seriously interested in the SBU.
