A friend of Prince Harry Meghan Markle: who is she
Prince Harry has officially named American actress Meghan Markle of her friend and lashed out at the media that “its insulting”.
Kensington Palace released an official statement on behalf of Prince Harry, in which he confirms that he’s an American actress Meghan Markle, and sharply criticized the media, which, from the point of view of the Prince, brought her a “wave of insults”.
But who is this Megan, you ask. The home of Prince Harry in Britain, few people know about it, but to American audiences she is known for her role as Rachel Zane in the TV series “Force majeure” (Suits).
Meghan Markle born August 4, 1981 and raised in Los Angeles, but now lives in Toronto.
She graduated from the Catholic College for girls, and then, in 2003, the School of communication at northwestern University in Illinois. Then began her acting career.
Between scans it, according to some, moonlighting, filling in wedding invitations in calligraphy developed during school lessons spelling.
A fighter for equality

In September 2011, Megan was married to film Director Trevor Engelson, with whom they met for 7 years. However, two years later a divorce followed.
Markle is also the chief editor of the website — and brand — The Tig, which talks about style, lifestyle, fashion, food and travel.
She said that the creation of the website was an attempt to change the usual content about beauty, adding a more thoughtful material about improving self-esteem and internal capacity, as well as stories about vibrant, interesting and successful women.
In his post on the magazine’s website she explains: “I never wanted to be “a lady goes for lunch”. I always wanted to be a woman who works.”
Markle have a lot of readers in social networks. On her account in Instagram signed by more than a million people, and Twitter actress read more than 330 thousand users.
Earlier this year, Markle became Ambassador of the charity organization World Vision Canada, which advocates for the development of education, health and nutrition of children around the world.
In this role, the actress visited Rwanda, collecting money for the initiative “Clean water”.
Along with work in Humanities Markle is also actively involved in campaigns for gender equality.
When Megan was 11, she forced the soap manufacturer to change its advertising product, because, according to Megan, is unfairly implied that a woman’s place is in the kitchen. To do this, Markle wrote to Hillary Clinton, who was then first lady of the United States and several other famous women.

Markle also wrote an article for Elle magazine about his racial heritage. Her mother is black and father is white.
