Turkish authorities said about 8 killed in Diyarbakir

Turkish Prime Minister binalı Yildirim reported that the explosion of a car bomb in Diyarbakir in the South-East of the country 8 people died and over 100 were injured, reports Reuters.

Next to the police station on the street of Emek at 8.00 GMT the car exploded.

Yildirim said that the killed suspect in the attack — a member of the PKK, which Turkey considers a terrorist organization.

Earlier it was reported that the blast in the Central district of Turkish city of Diyarbakir has killed at least one person.
