Rostec creates a special center for combating cyber threats, according to the newspaper “Izvestia”. According to the publication, the Department will be engaged in counter-espionage and the elimination of the consequences of cyber attacks.
“During the year, each month we are faced with one or two real threats, including catch viruses that are used for cyber-espionage and financial theft. The total number of anomalous activities that need to perform, numbered in the thousands. This is a very serious amount of work”, – said the Director of information security company “RT-inform” – IT-service of Rostec Alexander Evteev.
Rostec will track cyber attacks on the computers of the defense enterprises of Russia. Hackers gained access to valuable information, will be monitored by the specialists of the centre, and their details will be passed to the FSB.
The centre has already started working in test mode. During the trial period failed to prevent several dozen attempts to steal valuable information.
