The Iraqi military stormed another area in the East of Mosul
MOSCOW, 3 Dec — RIA Novosti. The Iraqi military stormed the area of al-Intisar in Eastern Mosul, the Agency Rudaw.
The operation to liberate the Iraqi city of Mosul from the terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG banned in Russia and other countries) continues from October 17. The Iraqi military, Kurdish forces and militias are fighting from all four directions, support for them has aviation coalition, headed by USA.
“The army stormed the district of al-Intisar on the left Bank of Mosul”, — reported in his Twitter. The left Bank called Eastern part of the city on the left Bank of the Tigris river.
Earlier it was reported that the military in the East managed to occupy the area of Kardjali and advance in the areas of al Karama and Judaydat al-Mufti.
One of the commanders of the Iraqi army Maan Ibrahim told the news Agency that the military plans to establish control over the whole left Bank “in the next few days.”
