The Council on human rights, the UN becomes an instrument of promotion of the individual States, this statement was made by the Deputy Director of the Department for human rights Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigory lukyantsev, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“We have to say that the agenda of the Council has become an instrument of promoting fleeting interests of individual States and groups. Discussion is increasingly turning into a political struggle, mentoring, defamation of States,” said lukyantsev.
In addition, a representative of the Department on human rights Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia has noticed that it is not groundless geographical imbalance associated with human rights situations in the moment does not reflect real trends, and is merely an instrument of the political order.
