Zakharov commented on the accusations of the head of MI-5 in Russia
Official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said in his Facebook statement by the Director of the British MI5, Andrew Parker that he sees Russia as a threat to the stability of the UK.
According to Zakharov, the Guardian newspaper published an interview, asked her to Express their opinion on this matter. She said that the head of MI5, who said about “using Moscow on the whole range to promote its foreign policy, threatening the stability of his country”, it has the following question:
“Whether he thinks the appointment of Boris Johnson as head of the British foreign office in the hands of the Kremlin?”.
In an interview Parker said that Moscow uses all methods for the conduct of an aggressive foreign policy, including propaganda, espionage, sabotage, and cyber attacks. According to him, Russia still has a lot of intelligence officers in the UK, but now, unlike during the cold war, being still and cyber-warfare.
In the Kremlin in response to these statements said that “Russia is really using all the possibilities”, but, unlike said by the head of MI-5, all of the possibilities available under international law to promote and defend their interests abroad.
