Turkey is ready to let the Russians internal passports
MOSCOW, Nov 2 — RIA Novosti. Turkey wishes that the Russians had the opportunity to come into the country with internal passports, said the head of the Turkish foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
“We want tourists from Russia had the opportunity to come to Turkey for an internal passport. Of course, from the point of view of safety it is necessary to take measures in this regard, as Russia had doubts on this issue”, — he told in interview to TV channel “Russia-24”.
The Minister also added that in connection with the history of the downed Russian su-24 in relations between the two countries began the crisis and to restore these relations it is necessary to take mutual steps.
“Two people each other mutual love, should not break such close ties,” he said.
Cavusoglu said that as the MP representing popular among Russian tourists in the city of Antalya, he experiences the joy of the Russian presence in Turkey. “Here lives a lot of Russian… and they too were very happy with the normalization of our relations”, — said the Minister.
Tourism revenues in Turkey are very important to reduce the deficit. In 2015, reaching about 31.5 billion dollars, and in 2016 the industry is going through a serious crisis due to the terrorist threat and the deterioration of relations with Russia. Charter flights between the two countries was interrupted for nine months, and in this regard, the decline in tourist arrivals from Russia in the first months of the year exceeded 90%.
