The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the decree about dismissal from the post of Governor of Odessa Mikhail Saakashvili. This was reported on the website Poroshenko.
The decree was signed by Poroshenko on 9 November. Also in the text of the document States that Saakashvli dismissed from his post as non-staff adviser of the President of Ukraine.
Saakashvili announced his resignation on 7 November. He explained this by the fact that it is impossible to correct the situation in one region, when the country is corruption. The government of Ukraine agreed on the resignation of the Governor.
According to Poroshenko, Saakashvili quit over losing. Saakashvili said that dealing with Poroshenko, he has no desire.
