Russian President Vladimir Putin receives credentials from new ambassadors 20 in Russia. Among them – the head of the diplomatic mission of the USA John huntsman, the ambassadors of France, Sylvie-Agnes Berman and Spain Ignacio ybáñez Rubio.
The ceremony of presenting credentials, traditionally held in the Grand Kremlin Palace, symbolizes the beginning of a diplomatic career of the new Ambassador in the country of destination. It is open to diplomats, who arrived in Russia in recent weeks. Usually the head of state addresses them with a greeting, pausing briefly on the relations of Moscow with each of the States represented, and receive the credentials. The ceremony ends with an informal conversation over a glass of champagne
