The Governor of Omsk region Viktor Nazarov continues its work as usual. This was reported by press Secretary of the head of the region Julia Sokolenko, commenting on recent media information about his resignation, reports TASS.
“The Governor is working normally, today was live on a local television channel. He participated in a charity marathon,” said the spokesman. She added that “the rumors about the resignation no comments”.
In an interview with the REN TV channel Sokolenko also noted that he could not confirm the appeared information. “I have no such information”, — she said.
Previously, on 30 September, a source in the presidential administration said that at present, a decision on early retirement Nazarov. According to him, a series of early departures of heads of Russian regions will be completed by October 10, and will be suspended from 8 to 11 governors, taking into account already announced.
