MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. The most abundant species of the Russian Armed Forces – the army on Sunday will celebrate their professional holiday.
Modern Ground forces of the Russian Federation was established in may 1992 as a successor to the Land forces of the Armed Forces of the USSR. In 2006, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree, according to which the army Day is celebrated on 1 October.
