The UN and countries around the world to connect to the demining work in Syria, said the Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Gennady Gatilov.
“There is an acute problem of humanitarian demining. The Russian military is doing all it can to help the Syrians in this case and to prevent new victims among innocent people. It is necessary that this work was actively engaged in the UN and other countries wishing to help the Syrian people,” — said Gatilov at the meeting on Syria, held in the framework of the UN General Assembly.
