The Ministry of defense of Russia commented on growing up in the river Euphrates flowing through Syria, the water level. In a statement, the military Department notes that, as soon as the Syrian troops began to cross the river, “a few hours” the water level increased, and the flow rate was doubled to 2 m/s.
“In the absence of precipitation, the only source of such changes of water environment is the man-made release of water in dams to the North along the Euphrates. These objects are in the opposition groups,” — said the official representative of the defense Ministry major-General Igor Konashenkov.
