In Australia built a hostel made of sand
To spend the night in the sand castle, perhaps, dreamed of by everyone who has built a sand castle. Enterprising Australians decided to make the dream a reality.
Hostel whose walls are made of sand appeared in the Australian city of gold coast in Queensland. The design work of the artist Joan Dowding, who participated in creation of films “the Blue lagoon” and “Mad Max”. As you know, the fantasy he’s rich!
For the construction of the hotel took 24 tons of sand. It turned out to be a hall, a room with eight beds and one room with a double bed.
The hotel began work on September 20 and will last until September 22. According to the report on the website of the hostel, it was full, reports Mashable.
Hostels are an affordable alternative to hotels. The owners of mini-hotels often show tremendous imagination when creating interiors. So in Tokyo there is a hostel with beds behind bookshelves, and in Thailand this year opened a “prison” hotel.
