Almost 100 thousand people were evacuated on Tuesday, September 19, in 14 Russian cities after anonymous calls with threats of “mining”. About it RIA Novosti said a source in the emergency services.
He noted that the evacuation affected 152 of the object. Information about the threats came from Moscow, Salekhard, Rostov-on-don, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Astrakhan, Voronezh and other cities.
On Tuesday it was reported that after an anonymous call about bombs in eight Metropolitan councils evacuated people. The evacuation was carried out also in the Central children’s store and the shopping center “Gagarin”. Tuesday night was closed metro station “Kitay-Gorod”.
In law enforcement bodies of the country last week and this week have received many calls from telephone terrorists. Reports of mining were trade centers, train stations, universities, hotels, schools. In particular, the 18 September in Moscow was evacuated the shopping center “atrium”, “European” and “metropolis”, as well as nine district councils, prefectures and office building.
