More than 70 percent of inhabitants of Moscow suburbs have already passed the regular medical examination in the current year. This was reported on the website of the regional government on Tuesday, September 19.
“At the moment in the Moscow region medical examinations were more than 929 thousand people. (…) It 124 thousand more than the number surveyed for the same period in 2016,” — said the first Deputy Chairman of the government of the Moscow region Olga Zabralova.
Almost half of those who have passed the examination, were found to have illnesses that require specialized medical care. 36.5 percent are recognized as healthy, 15 per cent have risk factors of chronic noncommunicable diseases, the report said.
