“Allowed to cry”: the government of Tajikistan issued a statement for mourning

According to the regulation, in particular, all the rituals of funeral and mourning should be held without slaughtering and without the offer of food, including rituals of the “third day”, “fortieth day” and the anniversary.
According to the rules described in the publication, during the mourning “is allowed to comfort the crying, but prohibits loud wailing, in sackcloth and with earth, tearing the hair, scratching the face, and also to order a special weeper”.
Women in mourning are allowed to wear on the head of a big blue gauze scarf, wide dresses and pants of blue, and belted with a scarf. The man in mourning are allowed to wear jomae (robe) of blue color, wear the head cap and belted with a sash.
