The Ministry plans to oblige hunters to pass the exams
MOSCOW, September 12. /TASS/. Russia’s natural resources Ministry plans to oblige citizens first receive the hunting tickets, to take the exam on the knowledge of the minimal rules of hunting.
On Tuesday at a meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of natural resources said the Director of the Department of state policy and regulation in the sphere of hunting, Andrey Filatov.
“The Department has developed and prepared the draft Federal law, which is expected to amend the law on hunting, the law is securing citizens, for the first time applying for a hunting ticket, charge successful verification of the requirements of the hunting minimum form of testing,” — said Filatov.
The official noted that such measure, the Department has pushed the hunters themselves: only in 2016 were more than 60 accidents on the hunt (31 fatalities and 21 serious consequences).
At the meeting of the Public Council the bill received unanimous approval, this will be followed by negotiation of details with the Federal bodies of Executive power.
Under the draft law it is planned to examine not only the citizens, for the first time receiving a hunting license, but hunters with experience. However, the final exam will be deferred for 10 years since the law came into force.
