Sergei Udaltsov
Opposition leader Sergei Udaltsov, who had served a term for organizing mass riots on Bolotnaya square, was summoned for interrogation to the Investigation Committee. About it “Interfax” has informed the official representative of Department Svetlana Petrenko.
Earlier, on 5 September Udaltsov in Twitter has announced a new phase of the “Left front” — a leftist organization, uniting supporters of the socialist development of Russia. “You will soon know the details, it will be interesting,” wrote the opposition leader. The link that he attached to the publication, contains a message that the new “Left front” will be presented on October 25.
8 Aug Udaltsov was released from a penal colony in the Tambov region. In July 2014 Mosgorsud sentenced the opposition leader and his colleague Leonid Razvozzhaev to 4.5 years of imprisonment for organizing riots during the agreed with the city authorities “March of millions” in 2012. The protest ended with clashes with police, dozens of people were injured, more than 400 demonstrators were detained.
