Two Russians involved in the riots during the G20 in the German city of Hamburg, has been charged with grievous bodily harm and resisting police. On Monday, 4 September, told RIA Novosti the representative of the city Prosecutor’s office Nan Frombach.
According to her, the investigation was completed, charges are brought, the case is referred to court.
“Both suspects the Russians are still in custody,” — said Frombach, noting that the timing of the trial is unknown.
Riots in Hamburg took place in early July during the summit of “Big twenty”. The anti-globalization movement, the ranks of which are crowded with left-wing extremists, threw the guards with stones and bottles, set fire to cars, pogroms and looted shops. Injured about 500 police officers. During the mass rallies were detained about 300 people. Among them — German citizens (most of them) and other European countries, including two Russians at the age of 20 and 30 years.
