Most of the victims from Egypt and Algeria — for eight people, the newspaper said, citing data from the General Bureau of statistics of Saudi Arabia. The Bureau said that all the deceased were elderly and died of “natural causes due to exacerbation of chronic diseases”.
The Ministry of health of the Kingdom reminded the Muslims about the need to avoid the Hajj in the presence of chronic diseases.
The Mina hospital in Mecca told the newspaper on more than 2.2 thousand cases of access to medical care. In General, patients complain of sunstroke, heart disease, diabetes. The hospital received young children, who cannot withstand the load because of the record heat.
