Saakashvili announced the arrest in Kiev his brother
KYIV, September 2 — RIA Novosti. The ex-President of Georgia, former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili said that the interior Ministry of Ukraine in Kiev detained his brother David Saakashvili.
“At dawn today eight representatives of the interior Ministry Avakov (interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov — ed.) I detained my brother David Saakashvili, when he left their home in Kiev and drove away in an unknown direction. He is a lawyer, had the document of residence in Ukraine, apparently, so trying to influence me to change my mind back. You very badly know me, it just further strengthens my resolve to protect Ukraine and Ukrainians” — wrote Saakashvili on Saturday in Facebook.
