Yakutsk became the winner of rating of the best cities of Russia
In the first place in the ranking of the best cities in the country was Yakutsk. Second place went to Moscow, and the third — in Saint Petersburg.
YAKUTSK, Nov 8 — RIA Novosti. Yakutsk has headed a rating of the best cities of Russia, which is based on the outcomes of the all-Russian action “Marathon of good deeds”, said RIA Novosti the representative of the press service of the government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
“In the first place in the ranking of the best cities in the country was Yakutsk. Second place went to Moscow, and the third of Saint-Petersburg”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
“Marathon of good deeds”, organized by the Public chamber of the Russian Federation together with the Association of volunteer centres, Repatriation and the Russian peace Foundation, was held from 11 October to 3 November. At the final forum active citizens “Community” in Moscow published a list of 10 most good of the subjects and towns of the country. The main criterion — the number of good deeds made by residents of Russian cities in the framework of the national marathon. In the framework of this initiative, each participant had to perform five tasks — good. Three weeks in the marathon was attended by over seven thousand Russians of the 230 cities across the country. The main aim of the campaign was the involvement of the maximum number of Russians in civilian activity.

As noted in the “Community” forum, the Minister of development of civil society institutions of Yakutia Sardana Guriev, taken decisions will be useful for the further development of the region’s nonprofit organizations working in the provision of socially useful services.
“The Republic is in its final stage of development of the regulatory framework. Today is training leaders of socially-oriented NGOs, which will in future care for the elderly, the poor and pensioners. The activity of citizens, territorial public organizations has strong support from the authorities of the Republic. In 2017, the country will be substantially increased the amount of grants for NGOs from state budget”, — quotes the press service of the government of the Republic words Gurieva.
