September 1 officially starts the all-Russian military-Patriotic movement “Uname”, whose main task is the Patriotic education of schoolchildren.

The Ministry of defence announced the formation of this organization in January 2016. The initiator of the revival movement was made by the Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. This proposal was supported by President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

In the framework of programmes preparing children and adolescents for military service on the basis of military units, various competitions and competitions, collecting and gatherings.
Currently, the movement continues to work in several Russian regions (Mordovia, the Ulyanovsk, Bryansk region, etc.).

Yunarmeytsy actively study the geography and history of Russia, its peoples, heroes, generals and famous scientists to do basic military training.

DOSAAF has already announced the creation of 18 major centers of military-Patriotic education across the country by 2020. The first 104 students joined Warmia may 22 in Yaroslavl region in the framework of the pilot project on creation and development of the movement.
