The elevators of the state Duma do not contain all the deputies and government representatives. On Wednesday, November 2, said the Chairman of the Duma Committee on physical culture, sport, tourism and youth Affairs Mikhail Degtyarev, the Agency reports city news “Moscow”.
“Due to the fact that the attendance of deputies on plenary sessions of the state Duma was an unprecedented turnout of representatives of the government too high, and in this context we have overloaded the elevators, especially in this building,” — said the MP.
According to him, the stairs, in particular, had to use the Minister of sports of Russia Pavel Kolobkov and his Deputy Natalia Parshikova. Rose walk, and the Degtyarev.
At the plenary meeting on Wednesday, according to the Agency, it is 399 out of 450 deputies. Two weeks ago the meeting was attended by nearly 440 members.
On 21 October it was reported that a ban on proxy voting and announced fines for deputies-shirkers has led to queues in the parliamentary dining room.
On the same day, the state Duma adopted amendments to the regulations, forbidding to deputies to vote by proxy. Absent from the meeting can be several valid reasons, including illness, business trip in the official delegation or regional travel.
In the lower house of Parliament is also the issue of fines for deputies-truants, said on October 18 speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
