Employees on the basis of NATO, Turkish soldiers asked for asylum in Germany
Several Turkish soldiers serving on a NATO base in Ramstein in Germany, has applied for political asylum in Germany, the TV channel SWR.
It is reported that as the cause of the application for asylum, the military has described the political situation in Turkey after the coup attempt.
The exact number of petitioning soldiers is not specified. Statements will soon be considered by the Federal German office for migration and refugees.
