The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova came to the defense of journalists of the TV channel RT, which the state Department does not put on a par with other respectful media, and noted that in case of repetition of similar incidents, it will apply its sanctions against working in Russia, journalists from the United States. She stated this at the briefing.
“This is an unprecedented case of separation of journalists on right and wrong, respected and not respected. It will be delivered at the meeting of Lavrov and Kerry, the contact will be held today in Peru on the sidelines of the APEC summit”, – she said.
According to her, if the Russian TV channel will be such in the United States, at a briefing the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry is “a special place” for American journalists.
“Believe me, I’ll bring the Beers. If again in Washington, this will happen, we will allocate a special place for American journalists,” Zakharova said.
Recall that in the briefing, state Department spokesman John Kirby spoke in a raised voice with the correspondent of the TV channel RT Gayane Chichakyan. He refused to submit to it a list of objects, the destruction of which Washington has repeatedly accused Moscow. Kirby suggested the Chichakyan most familiar with the “reports from credible humanitarian organizations”, but what specifically, is not mentioned. For explanations, he sent the journalist to the Ministry of defence.
