Swedish prosecutors will make a decision concerning further steps of the investigation of Assange only after the receipt of Ecuador in writing of the results of the interrogation.

In Sweden in the summer of 2010 against Assange began investigations on the application of two women about his sexual ambitions during his stay in Stockholm.

The suspect was detained in London on 7 December of the same year at the request of the Swedish police, insisting on his extradition. However, a few days Assange was released on bail.

The suspect is in the Embassy of Ecuador in London since 2012 — he then appealed to the Ecuadorian authorities with a request for political asylum due to fears his extradition by the Swedish authorities in the United States in connection with his activities in WikiLeaks.

In all the years of finding Assange in the Ecuadorian Embassy, the Swedish Prosecutor’s office never questioned a suspect, for which the Agency has been criticized in Sweden.
