Street photographer has recreated the images of 40 years ago

Since 1970-ies Chris Porsz walked for hours in Peterborough (United Kingdom), shooting scenes of local life. 40 years later, the photographer found the people who became the characters in his sketches, to recreate old pictures.

A number of pictures, Parts recreated in detail by placing the models in the same place where they were many years ago. Other photos had only enough presence changed over the years heroes. Collages, Ports collected in a book which was named “Reunion”.

The idea of the photographer — to know how did the lives of his characters, and tell people about it. The project entry Porsse appeared on the portal Boredpanda.

For example, punks Tina Tarr and her friend’s Dog got into the lens Porsse next to the Cathedral in Peterborough, when she was 18 years old. Later they married and in the 1990s left the city, traveled, raised twins, and divorced. Tina lives in Dorset, and Dog in South-West Wales.

Tony Wilmot said goodbye to my friend Sally at the railway station in Peterborough in 1980, a year later they were married. Tony was 22, he worked as a teacher in Essex and Sally at the age of 21 lived in Stafford and worked at the local office. They met in Peterborough and had no idea that someone had photographed. After 30 years, father Tony has noticed in the local newspaper a picture of your son with his young wife. Now they live in Staffordshire and they have two adult children.

Striking the 1987, where the five boys running down the street. Porstu managed to get them all to repeat the photos 30 years later. Andy was married 21 years, raised a daughter, Richard works as an electrician and has two sons, Tony James does a sharp stone, he also has two children. Aaron works at IKEA, and Diviner moved into Yorkshire and engaged in housing services.

Punk Badger, Parque has won competition on eating pizza on Cathedral square in Peterborough in 1985. The competition was organized by Stefan Malini, which contained the restaurant “Papa Luigi”. Stephen still remembers as a Badger ate my pizza in two minutes. Then punk worked as a labourer at a construction site, the victory made him for some time, the famous local newspaper printed a photo of a Badger. Now he has five children, he lives in Somerset since 1991 and is engaged in road construction. And he’s still a punk with a pink Mohawk.

Chris Porsz has done a remarkable job of combining time periods with the help of live illustrations of the daily life of a small town. All the pictures can be viewed on the website of the photographer.
