The leader of the Sicilian mafia ordered his son to kill his sister for having an affair with a policeman. This became known to Italian law enforcement authorities in the course held on the island of special operations to combat organized crime, RIA Novosti reported.
During the operation, were detained 16 people suspected of organizing a criminal community and extortion of businessmen. Among those arrested was 71-year-old Giuseppe Scaduto, who was released from prison six months ago after nine years in prison for racketeering.
