Skvortsova called the average salary of doctors in Russia
MOSCOW, 30 Jul — RIA Novosti. The average monthly salary of physicians in 2017 amounted to almost 53 thousand rubles, said Minister of health of Russia Veronika Skvortsova at the Congress of the National medical chamber.
“According to Rosstat, in 2012 the average monthly wage of doctors and nurses increased by more than 48% and 46.7%… In the first half of 2017 in the whole of Russia the average salary of doctors amounted to 52,9 thousand rubles, nurses — 29.4 thousand, Junior staff — 19.3 thousand. To effective contract translated already 2.3 million employees… that is 85.5% of total employment in health care”, — said Skvortsova.
The Minister noted that in the regions continues to work to increase wages, in particular to increase the proportion of salary in the salary structure. Skvortsova said that in the country there are only five regions where this figure remains low — in the range of 20-25%.
