Hungary blocked the summit of the NATO — Ukraine
Hungary vetoed the holding of the December summit of the NATO — Ukraine. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs Peter Siyyarto, according to the website of the foreign Ministry of Hungary.
He noted that Hungary could not support integration aspirations of Ukraine.
Until September, he said, Hungary was the most active supporter of the integration aspirations of Ukraine. In the early fall of Kiev adopted the law on the Ukrainization of education, which Szijjártó called “stab in the back”.
While Szijjártó said that this decision cannot be ignored, because the conduct of the NATO — Ukraine needs a common position of all member countries of the Alliance.
