Arrested attacked leading “echo of Moscow”
Moscow. 24 Oct. INTERFAX.RU — Presnensky court of Moscow until December 23, sent under arrest of Boris grits, on the eve of the attacker on the journalist of radio station “Echo of Moscow” Tatiana Felgengauer, reports on Tuesday the correspondent of “Interfax”.
“The court concludes that the petition of the investigating authorities is subject to satisfaction. (.. .) To elect against the defendant grits a measure of restraint in form of detention for a term until 23 December 2017,” announced the judge Evgeny Naidenov on Tuesday.
In the afternoon of 23 October, Felgenhauer was attacked in the editorial office of the radio station. The man broke into the editorial office, blinding the guard of a gas canister and caused the journalist stabbed in the neck. He was detained and referred to law enforcement.
As it turned out, the attackers is a 48-year-old grits. Against him the head investigative Department of SK across Moscow brought criminal case under article “Attempt at murder”.
During interrogation, grits, who has the citizenship of Russia and Israel, could not rationally explain the reason for his action, giving unintelligible readings. In the near future the consequence will appoint him a psychiatric examination to check for sanity.
Felgenhauer was hospitalized to the research Institute. Sklifosofskiy. She had an operation. As the Director of the Institute Sergei Petrikov, the journalist is in intensive care in serious but stable condition.
