The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has addressed to participants of the world festival of youth and students in Sochi in English. It is reported RIA Novosti on Saturday, October 21.

The head of state noted that the future is in the hands of the participants: “Future starts here and now future is you”. Putin added that the festival has an unusual “energy of youth”, and expressed confidence in its utility for all 30 thousand guests.

“I am confident that, leaving Russia, you will leave here a piece of my heart. But Russia will always remain in your heart. We believe in you,” he said.

Finally, he wished everyone “all the best” (all the best). The participants of the festival started in response to chant “thank you,” and Putin was photographed with those on stage.

Earlier, the President said that the youth should not forget about the moral and ethical bases of their chosen profession, and spoke about genetic engineering, which “can be worse than a nuclear bomb.”

XIX world festival of youth and students opened in Sochi on 15 October. The event is held in Russia for the third time. In 1957 and 1985 it took Moscow, which this time was limited to parade participants.
