About 500 people participating in the protest near the Verkhovna Rada in Kyiv, announced new requirements to President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. On Saturday, October 21, TASS reported.
According to their terms, Poroshenko must within five working days submit to the Parliament a law on impeachment. The protesters vowed not to vacate the street and not to stop the action, if this is not done.
As reports RIA Novosti, one of the participants noted that the introduction of the law does not specifically address personality Poroshenko.
According to TASS, the evening of 21 October to the meeting should join the head of the party “movement new forces,” Mikheil Saakashvili. He is going to hold a private presentation of the “Plan 70 days”, which will tell you how it is possible for the specified time to change the country.
A few days earlier, the protesters demanded repeal of parliamentary immunity, to create the country’s anti-corruption court and to change the electoral law.
October 17, the Verkhovna Rada, the opposition began an indefinite protest. Protesters set up tents, the first barricade and a field kitchen. Among the demonstrators in addition to the members of the “movement of new forces” included activists of “Batkivschyna”, “Samopomich”, the nationalist party “Freedom” and “national building” and other organizations.
