The Russians spoke about the distribution of responsibilities in the family

All-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM) asked Russians about how should be distributed the responsibilities in the family, reports TASS on Tuesday, October 17.

Only one person out of every hundred of the respondents believe that earning in the family needs a woman. The majority of respondents traditionally rely on a breadwinner male (54%).

At the same time to clean the house should, according to 74 percent of the respondents both husband and wife. The vast majority of study participants also talk about the shared responsibilities of men and women in the upbringing of children (84 percent).

In the survey, held from 1 to 3 October, was attended by 1 800 adults.

Earlier in September, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets said that the average earnings of women in the country a quarter less than men: 28 thousand against 38.6 thousand rubles.

In April, the majority of Russians polled by VTSIOM found that fathers can not worse than the mothers to care for small children and run the household.
