In Istanbul’s Pendik district unknown persons opened fire from a hunting rifle at a group of students. It is reported by CNN Turk.
In the attack one student died on the spot, two others were injured. The malefactor tried to disappear from a scene and commit suicide.
Police managed to catch up with the fugitive and apprehend him. About the motives that pushed the man to the crime was not reported.
On January 30 in Istanbul, a passerby opened fire on the restaurant. As reported in law enforcement, the shooter suddenly recognized one of the visitors of a person 12 years ago who killed his father, and decided to take revenge — he killed the Egyptian. According to the police, other visitors were injured or as a result of ricochet bullets off of walls, either in a stampede when frightened crowd rushed to the exit.
