New US Ambassador to Russia John huntsman said in an interview with his daughter in the morning show Fox & Friends about the success in learning the Russian language.
“My colleagues in the Embassy here told me that I speak Russian with Chinese accent,” he said.
The daughter of a diplomat and part-time journalist Abby huntsman suggested that, probably, Russian — the most difficult language of them that he ever had to learn.
The new US Ambassador and his wife, Mary Kay, arrived in Moscow on 2 October. Huntsman previously served as Ambassador in China and Singapore, was assistant Deputy Minister of trade of the USA for East Asia and the Pacific.
The huntsman is fluent in Chinese.
