Putin dismissed the Governor of the Novosibirsk Gorodetsky
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has sent in resignation of the Governor of the Novosibirsk region Vladimir Gorodetsky. This was reported on the Kremlin website.
“To accept resignation of the Governor of the Novosibirsk region Gorodetsky on their own. Assign Travnikova Andrei Aleksandrovich, acting Governor of Novosibirsk region until the entry into office of a person elected the Governor of the Novosibirsk region”, — stated in the text of the decree.
On the eve of the information appeared about what Gorodetsky wrote a letter of resignation at own will. According to the Agency “FederalPress” it happened in the presidential Administration. However, the head of information policy Department of Novosibirsk administration Sergei Neshumov in Facebook denied it.
“About propagating rumors about alleged yesterday the visit of the Governor of the Novosibirsk region in the presidential Administration and the writing of the resignation report that the information is untrue. Yesterday the Governor went to a meeting at the transport Ministry, the presidential Administration was not”, — he assured.
