“Dislike” Zvyagintsev made to the struggle for “Oscar”
WASHINGTON, 5 Dec — RIA Novosti. The picture of the “Dislike” by Andrei Zvyagintsev allowed to participate in the competition for the title of best foreign language film Academy awards, USA-Oscar organizers said.
“A record number, 92 countries have applied for consideration for participation in the contest in the category “Best foreign language film,” the organizers said on Thursday.

Russia at the prestigious contest will present a “Dislike”. Last year for “Oscar” fought 85 foreign paintings.
Debutants of “Oscar” will be paintings from Haiti, Honduras, Laos, Mozambique, Senegal and Syria.
Awarding the prize “Oscar” will be held on 4 March 2018 at the 90th annual ceremony. Five pictures nominated for the award in each category will be announced on January 23.
World premiere of the film “Dislike” was held in the main competition program of the 70-th Cannes film festival where the film won the jury Prize. The film tells about the difficult divorce of a young couple. The couple are so absorbed in their personal problems that they forget about his 12-year-old son Alyosha, who one day runs away from home and disappears.
