KIEV, October 4. /TASS/. Draft laws submitted by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the Verkhovna Rada, regarding reintegration and the status of Donbass, do not have radically new ideas and are part of the election campaign of the President. Such opinion on Wednesday in an interview with TASS was expressed by the Director of the Institute of policy analysis and management Ruslan Bortnik.
“These bills, on the one hand, the simulation implementation of the Minsk agreements, on the other – it is part of electoral strategy Poroshenko, his election campaign”, – the expert believes. He explained that that is why in the bill on the reintegration of Donbass “fixed notions about the occupation of the aggressor state, etc., that is what is often heard from the right of the electorate.”
Among the most important points of the bill on the reintegration of the region Bortnik called the actual abolition of the “anti-terrorist operation regime and the introduction of the defense of the state, which is also an electoral tool, as previously Poroshenko promised to abolish this regime.”
