Experts of the International mine action centre of the Russian Armed forces started humanitarian demining the Syrian Deir-ez-Zor. On Friday, September 29, RIA Novosti reported, citing the Ministry of defense of Russia.
Now a group of engineering reconnaissance and mine clearance clear the road, the roadside and surrounding buildings at the entrances to Deir-ez-Zor and its outskirts to ensure the safety of humanitarian convoys to the city.
Russian engineers use the latest mine detectors IMP-C2 portable searchers of conductive control lines explosive devices PEOPLE, non-contact portable seekers explosive devices SKINCARE-3M, radar subsurface sounding instruments of OKO-2, RC interlock devices and other promising models.
The bomb squad is equipped with BTR-82АМ and armored vehicles “Typhoon” and “Lynx”. For remote demining sappers use multifunctional robotic complex “Uran-6” and equipped they combined the sets clearance OVR-2-02.
“Only in Syria deployed more than 170 servicemen of the International anti-mine centre of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation, 40 units of special and engineering equipment, 10 calculations of mine and search service”, — noted in the defense Ministry.
